3M Tizact range  ensures uniformity, precision and long abrasive life. 

The precision shaped Ceramic Grain ensures uniformly shaped triangles of ceramic aluminium oxide grain

These self-sharpening triangles are designed continuously forming new super-sharp points and edges that slice cleanly through the metal like a knife, instead of gouging or ploughing. This prevents heat from building up in the workpiece – reducing heat-related stress cracks and discolouration. Additionally, because the abrasive itself stays cooler and sharper, it lasts up to four times as long as conventional ceramic grain belts.

3M Xtract

This Advanced Series sanding disc features a net backing that enables virtually dust-free sanding, with fast-cutting, long-lasting 3M Precision-Shaped Grain technology.

High cut-rate and competitive pricing. The 3M Xtract™ NetDisc 310W extracts up to 99% of the dust produced during sanding, reducing exposure to airborne particles and creating a cleaner, virtually dust-free work environment. Plus, the 3M Precision-Shaped Grain in the disc cuts with less pressure required by the operator, making for more comfortable sanding.

Mirca "ABRANET"  

Dust free sanding,  avoiding abrasive loading (glogging.)  


Abranet® is a revolutionary sanding material for long abrasive life and dust-free sanding.

This unique patented sanding material contains thousands of small holes, making it possible to effectively vacuum extract dust and other particles without clogging the disc surface. The result is seen as a very uniform sanding pattern and a perfectly smooth surface. Since the amount of airborne dust has been minimised, the work environment is remarkably improved.


Excellent for sanding with a sander or by hand any hazardous materials including fillers, paints, lacquers and composite materials.

Abranet® Ace is a premium net product with a ceramic grain. The product increases production and speed for tougher, more demanding sanding applications in a variety of industrial sectors, whilst reducing costs. Grits P80 > P1,000.

Abranet® Ace HD, is durable and tough with ceramic grains. The strong net structure resists high wear and tear and the ceramic grain offers superior cutting performance on various surfaces. The improved woven mesh backing increases the lifetime of the abrasive, and makes the sanding process faster. Grits P40 > P120

Abranet® SIC NS is a multifunctional net abrasive without stearate, developed mainly for glass sanding, but is also suitable for sanding of other hard surfaces like primers, clear coats and composites. Grits P80 > P400

The Mirka Galaxy 

The Galaxy features a new self-sharpening ceramic grain, a clog resistant coating and the new Multifit hole configuration. The ceramic grains of Galaxy are engineered to stay sharp, as new abrasive edges are formed when they break down during the sanding process. Galaxy utilises Mirka’s new Multifit concept for hole configuration. With Multifit, the abrasive can be placed on any machine without the need to specifically align it, thanks to the optimised hole placement.
